GPS units

Mapsource software

topographic maps of the local area

pen/notebook paper

 

Instructions:

  1. Gather data points in area and manner described by your teacher using the GPS Units (and see table below).

  2. Turn your information for your data points in to your teacher.

  3. Turn in GPS units to the teacher to have data points all put onto the same map.

  4. Share your information with the class (refer to teacher for further detail)

  5. Answer the questions below
